Hi!Our fund-raising campaign for the film “Jeff” (without “The Killer” part, as we previously said) is coming to an end.
Here is how we can summarize the whole experience:
- We started from scratch, having neither a well established audience nor some kind of crazy promotion. But we believe that we managed to attract attention. Some respectable sources wrote about us, and the number of views and comments on Youtube keeps growing. We didn’t make it our goal as such to collect money. But all those who kindly donated will receive their presents in the coming year!
- From the beginning we were saying that we would rethink the story, leaving in only the key ideas. And those who dedicated a few minutes of their time to get to know our materials understood this. Just as they understood the idea of our teaser.
But we still received comments along the lines of “Is he 13 years old?” (NO, HE ISN’T!), “Will he be killing everyone at home in the nighttime and saying “Go to sleep?” (No, he won’t be), “The story is boring and poorly written”, “Better adapt the “RandomCreepy” story”…
We will soon reveal out Treatment and outline the main storylines. This is really an absorbing story, different from what you are expecting to see based on the established image.
The killings will be brutal, but not clichéd. Jeff will pursue specific goals in his revenge.
And the most important thing:
- The first half of the coming year will be dedicated to solving all kinds of problems related to financing and distribution of the film. It is also then that the final script will be presented and an active pre-production process will begin.

是制作团队说的，还是粉丝提出的问题，但是光是说出这一点对于JTK的原作者来说已经是一个很大的伤害了，因为如果你的作品被人改的面目全非还被批评说是写的很无聊很糟糕的话……如果是我我真的可能会跳起来去敲爆他的狗头_(:з」∠)_
总之大电影的事情没能产出对于一部分JTK的粉丝来说也是一个很遗憾的事情，不过在今年即将上映的《Slender man》大电影又给了我们更大的惊喜和期待，还请大家静静地等待它的上映吧！
