第一句有可能，第二句几乎不可能

简言之，无论叙陈述句还是假设句的未来事件，都有多种语气及表现手法。按书来是书呆，这种书也就是考考试用用

If+were+to的用法在advanced grammar in Use 的第83页有说到，多用于不可能发生的情况
In unreal conditionals we can use if …were + to-infinitive rather than if + past simple to talk about imaginary future situations, particularly when it is unlikely that the situation in the if-clause will happen

if we were to事实上在口语中也会用到，参见2016年11月16日的首相质询（PMQ）环节
当Theresa May被问到，为何迟迟不阐明脱欧方案时，她回答：
“Of course those in the European Union whom we will be negotiating with , will want us to set out at this stage every detail of our negotiating strategy. If we were to do that... if we were to do that, it will be the best possible way of ensuring we got the worst result for this country ! That's why we won't do it ! ”

初看旋的书的时候，接触语法没多长时间，现在再看，里面很多东西只是自圆其说，反例满天飞。 笑笑就好了。

区别就是，第一句话发生的可能性很大，基本上你要是再迟到，你就会被炒了。第二句不太可能发生，意思是我不可能收下那笔款项
