Himself and Herself are used to refer back to a male or female noun or pronoun previously mentioned in the sentence. Itself is used when referring back to a singular noun or pronoun previously mentioned in the sentence. For example: The cat itself was very friendly; The computer itself was quite expensive. Ourselves and Yourselves are used when referring back to a group of people that includes the speaker/writer (ourselves) and/or those being addressed (yourselves). For example: We must look after ourselves; You should take care of yourselves. Themselves is used when referring back to a group of people other than those being addressed or referred too by the speaker/writer. For example: They must make their own decisions for themselves; The students were left alone so they could work things out for themselves.
