I am actually quite surprised that I haven't worn the Satin De Luxe before. I remember being completely knocked out seeing them worn by the sister of a girlfriend one Christmas. It was the material and the back seam that indicated that these were tights that were really something unique and different. Since that moment I have always wanted a pair for myself.

Packaging 包装
Packaging is typical for most Wolford tights. The tights are folded around a card rectangle that has photos of various Wolford products. The main product information card is then folded over this before everything is enclosed in a cellophane envelope.

It was with some excitement that I removed the tights from the packaging and touch that Satin De Luxe material for the first time.

The Wolford Satin De Luxe Tights are made from 84% Polyamide and 16% Elastane. They feel light and feel incredibly soft. Wolford Satin De Luxe裤袜含84%的尼龙和16%氨纶。裤袜穿起来很轻，非常的柔软。
The yarn is quite unique: on the outside it has a shimmering satin sheen; on the inside it is matt. The yarn is very elastic and stretchy.

Opaque coverage is total and provides a complete blackout effect on the leg.

The leg part of the tights is fully boarded with an anatomically shaped leg and foot. There is no toe reinforcement.

A standout feature of the Satin De Luxe Tights is of course the iconic back seam. This starts right at the toe, runs under the foot and all the way up the back of the leg to the waistband. The brief/body has a central conventional seam, as well as a gusset. The two back seams run either side of the central rear seam, so that the body has a total of three seams at the rear.

The waistband is 2.5cm wide. It is stretchy and provides support without digging in. The outside of the waistband is shiny, with an embossed Wolford logo. The inside is constructed from a very soft, gentle material.The signature Wolford tag is sewn into the inside rear of the waistband.

The Wolford Satin De Luxe Tights are available in four sizes: XS, S, M and L.

You need to take some care when putting the Satin De Luxe on. This is to ensure that the back seam is aligned correctly under the foot and runs up the back of the calf and thigh.

As mentioned above, the tights are really stretchy. Fit on the leg is perfect with no wrinkles or bunching anywhere.

I found the sizing information to be completely accurate. It indicates that the L size fits up to 5'11" in height and this is spot on. However if you have bigger calves and thighs, as many guys are likely
to have, then the material will partly stretch outward as well as upwards. The fit on the leg was perfect for my 5'10" height, with the yarn not overstretched. If you are taller than 5'10" - 5'11" (178cm), you may not get as comfortable a fit.

The brief/body stretches comfortable over the waist and hips, but is not quite as deep as what you might be used to Wolford XL sizes.

I would have preferred a slightly deeper brief. The waistband is not as wide as other Wolford styles but is perfectly comfortable.

The Satin De Luxe feel quite luxurious on the skin - so completely smooth and soft.
