We have some big changes planned for the next Guild War! It’s still at least a few weeks away, but I wanted to give some heads up as we continue development. The following represents the current plan for the next guild war, and is subject to change based on our own testing and on community feedback.
The next big planned addition is the Guild Fortress. This will allow players to earn points to build and upgrade Fortress Defenses and Siege Weapons, which each add cards to your battles as long as they are active. You will now be able to attack enemy weapons and defenses independently to disable them, or to attack the enemy Fortress directly for extra points.
The first version of this war will likely have a temporary fortress – it will last only until the end of the War Event. This will help us ensure that the new fortress cards are balanced. Points will be earned by completing various quests during the War Preparation phase, 1-2 weeks before the Guild War itself.
