虽然权力的游戏剧集由于需要节约制作成本，基本没拍大场面战争，（除了黑水河之战）但冰与火之歌里在五王之战里还是有许多波澜壮阔的战役，更不用说在篡夺者战争之前的几次著名的大战役，包括坦格利安降服凯岩王国与河湾地的怒火燎原之役，坦格利安自己内斗的血龙狂舞，更有近代中英雄辈出的九铜板王之战，这么多有名的战争光看书自己就会在脑子里脑补许多血肉横飞，烽烟四起的画面。
小说可以描绘画面，而音乐却能提起情绪，剧集里著名的卡斯特梅的雨季的雨季，虽然并非战争史诗里出来的歌，但在红婚那一集出现还是非常悲壮的，在之前也做了某一集的片尾曲，还是低沉男生合唱，非常不一样的感觉。
前阵子，听到这首歌，来自Summoning乐队Oath Bound专辑里最长的首歌，Land of The Dead，重金属，你准备好了么？而且这歌词也写得太好了，我觉得听到这歌的当下简直浮现的全是冰与火之歌里面的战争场面！非常容易high！
